When closed, it fits into dining areas to comfortably seat four people; when opened, the table smoothly extends to accommodate up to six people, with plenty of legroom to go around. The extension mechanism also ensures that the leaves properly align, and that the table provides years of use - even with frequent opening and closing. Sturdily constructed, the Beekman is always stable, never wobbly.
